San Marcos Faux Society this Thursday!

Edited to add - We are meeting every third Thursday at Hobby Lobby in San Marcos, and alla y'all are welcome to join us! If you join Wire Wrap Texas, you can have a say in what we do next and be a part of all the chatter!

Alla y'all in the area are welcome to come play with us! We'd love to meet you! We focus on wire and metal fun, but all aspects of jewelry making are welcome.

We'll be at the Hobby Lobby in San Marcos from 2 to around 5, although on occasion we dawdle longer....

We are a Faux Society because we don't do the corporate stuff, we spend all our time having a good time. No dues, no boss, lots of friends.

Nov meetup for the San Marcos Faux Society!

Heyya! We're going to play at Hobby Lobby, in the classroom! We're tossing around making leaves, in honor of fall. Or bring a UFO (that's an unfinished project) or just come soak up some fun!
2 o'clock until whenever, or 4 o'clock, depending on when we get chased out.
Bring your tools 'n stuff, or just bring yourself!
RSVP would be fun, but not mandatory.
Holler if you need a ride, maybe someone lives/works close enough to help.
San An peeps are meeting at my place for carpooling and caravaning, holler if you need directions.

Well, all the dear ladies attending the inaugural meeting of the San Marcos Bead and Wire Faux Society had a Very Good Time! What? You couldn't make it? So sorry! Perhaps next month?

See link below for up-to-date info) Tantra Coffee House serves great coffee, the desserts were oh so tempting, the company was divine! We passed around gorgeous jewelry - OMG, gorgeous! We traded stories and tips and gossip and made plans for More Fun!

It was so very great to finally meet dear sisters in the flesh, whom we've long known only in cyberland.

Please! Do join us next month if you're in the area! We're going to bring hammers and blocks and big wire and make clasps and findings. ooooooooooooo aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh! First Thursday, be there or be square!

My version of Karen's dimensional bracelet!

'ello all! The lovely ladies of the San Marcos Bead and Wire Faux Society were treated to a class by Karen, of Dreamcatcher Ranch. Her Dimensional Bracelet is Wonderful, rich with possibilities, always different! Each and every one came out gorgeous and interesting.
Here's my version, all turquoise and copper of course, not where I was headed, but born in the journey -
